Dmitri Alperovitch is co-founder and chief technology officer of CrowdStrike, leading intelligence, research and engineering teams. A renowned computer security researcher, Alperovitch is a thought-leader on cybersecurity policies and state tradecraft. As former VP of Threat Research at McAfee, he led the company’s Internet threat intelligence analysis, correlation and visualization. In 2010 and 2011, he led the global team that investigated and brought to light Operation Aurora, Night Dragon and Shady RAT groundbreaking cyberespionage intrusions, and named those incidents. In 2011, he was the recipient of the prestigious Federal 100 Award for his contributions to the federal information security and was named a Tech Titan by Washingtonian Magazine in 2013. He is currently a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and has served on the Georgia Tech Information Security Center industry advisory board. He currently serves on the RSA conference advisory board.
