Ramiro Álvarez Ugarte holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Argentina and a M.A. in law from Columbia Law School where he was a Fulbright and Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. He has been a staff attorney at the Office of the Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression of the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights (2009-2011) and has worked in the freedom of expression area of the Asociación por los Derechos Civiles (ADC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2007-2008). He holds a journalism degree from the University of San Andrés and teaches constitutional law at the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires. |
