Htaike Htaike Aung is co-founder of Myanmar ICT for Development Organization (MIDO), the only ICT-focused non governmental organization in Myanmar/Burma. MIDO focuses on ICTs for development, Internet freedom and Internet policy advocacy, and organised the first Internet Freedom Forum in Myanmar. Since the introduction of the Internet to the public in Myanmar, she has been involved in Myanmar’s Internet propagation events. She is also a digital security trainer for human rights defenders in Myanmar, and is currently a DeBoer fellow. |
