Christopher Bronk is the Baker Institute fellow in information technology policy and director of the Program on Energy and Cybersecurity at the Baker Institute’s Center for Energy Studies at Rice University. He previously served as a career diplomat with the US Department of State on assignments both overseas and in Washington, DC. Since arriving at Rice University, Bronk has divided his attention among a number of areas, including information security, technology for immigration management, broadband policy and the militarization of cyberspace. He teaches on the intersection of computing and politics in Rice University’s George R. Brown School of Engineering.
