Yurie Ito is the director of Local Coordination Division for the Japan Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center (JPCERT/CC). She previously served seven years as the technical director for JPCERT/CC and has also served ICANN as the director of Global Security Programs from 2009 to 2011. She has led a number of international collaborative efforts and currently serves as the chair of the Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT). She has been an active member of the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), and served as a board member of FIRST from 2004 to 2010. She is co-author of “Japan’s Cyber Security History” in A Fierce Domain: Conflict in Cyberspace, 1986 to 2012 (Cyber Conflict Studies Association, 2013) and author “Making the Internet Clean, Safe and Reliable” (2012). |
