Paul Meyer is fellow in international security and adjunct professor of international studies at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He is also senior fellow of the Simons Foundation. A former career diplomat with Canada’s Foreign Service, he has served as ambassador to the United Nations and Conference on Disarmament in Geneva and as Director General of the Security & Intelligence Bureau of Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development. His chief cyber research interest is on the diplomacy of international cyber security and the potential for cooperative security approaches to govern state conduct in cyberspace. |
