Taylor Owen is the research director of the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at the Columbia Journalism School. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford, where he was a Trudeau Scholar. He is the director of the International Relations and Digital Technology Project, an international research project exploring the intersection of information technology and international affairs, and is the founding editor-in-chief of the Canadian International Council’s international affairs platform OpenCanada.org. He is currently writing a book titled Disruptive Power: How Digital Technology is Reshaping International Affairs, to be published in the fall of 2014 by Oxford University Press.
