Michael Walma is the director of foreign policy planning at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada, where he leads on Internet foreign policy issues. His professional background is mainly in international security policy and he was Canada’s expert at the last instance of the United Nations Group of Governmental Experts on Cyber Security.
